Heart Maiden

I have sailed these seas so long.
The brutal winds my vision blurred.
From a distance I can hear a song.
The sweetest sound I've ever heard.
Oh estranged man of the sea, your eyes have grown tired and weak. Come into my arms and I shall show you the way.
Oh maiden that calls to me, comes to set me free.
The mighty winds blow me astray.
Her warm embrace, I dare not look upon the face.
Of the fair maiden who stole my heart.
The Valkyrie song, will vanquish all that is wrong.
The sweetest sound that never was.
Oh estranged man of the sea, your eyes have grown tired and weak. Come into my arms and I shall show you the way.
Oh maiden that calls to me, comes to set me free.
The mighty winds blow me astray.
Oh maiden that calls to me, my eyes are open And clearly see.
The path that lays before my feet, (our hearts will guide the way)!
Your sweet words call to me, the wind against my cheek.
The look in your eyes lifts me off my feet.

Winter's Tears
06:46
|
|||
Winter, a wonderland of hallowed peace.
At first glance, but a mystery unravels before your eyes.
The tundra vast like a sea of sorrow,
Stretching beyond the sight of a mortal man.
A light dusting over my mind (The wonder of the cold sweeps over me). Holds the answers to cerebral bliss, (the answer that will set me free).
A haunting melody, though foreign, (and it will guide me).
Its footsteps through my mind are familiar.
Satisfying, a desire to know all.
But hold on to a nothing of memories.
Blackened I have become blinded like a horse,
Pulling fates carriage aimlessly.
The sorrow pours from my soul (and washes me away).
Like the avalanche high from the peaks (the lone mountain leads me astray).
To the stars I will rest (I shan't be afraid, its guiding hand will lead the way). For wintry salvation I seek.
Winter's Tears, one of a kind.
Never were there two so a like,
The stars, weeping for the sun to dry up and hide,
All the frozen tears that fall from the sky.
Oh wanderer, you are weary.
The answer can be found from all around you. Let go.
Winter's Tears, one of a kind.
Never were there two so a like,
The stars, weeping for the sun to dry up and hide,
All the frozen tears that fall from the sky.

Fading Leaves
04:33
|
|||
A forest as old as time,
Beckons to me timid but strong.
The green is life, whispering a tune,
Unheard longing to sing.
An old man sits, at the clearings edge,
I arrived and then he said,
Come young wanderer, hear my lore,
This beautiful forests time is short.
Oh wandering lad, oh longing soul,
This forest is ancient as I am old.
Like you I was young and green like the trees,
But slowly I’m dying like the fading leaves.
Ways we parted and onward I went,
Through the enchanting scent of fauna and flora.
To a river I came, and the climate did change,
To a rain, that was cold as the snow.
The sight of the dead forest, brought tears to my eyes.
I felt like a broken spirit, kneeling beneath a crimson sky.
Oh wandering lad, oh longing soul,
This forest is ancient as old man foretold.
Like you I was young and green like the trees,
But slowly I’m dying like the fading leaves.
Now i am brittle, my feet are like ash.
I live in green forest until death will out-lash.
Along comes young wanderer, bright and anew.
So I’ll pass along knowledge given to few.
Time brings healing and brings death.
Up until your final breath.
In life’s grand scheme, were fading leaves.
Old mans words...burning bright as the crimson sky, that night.
I'm fading away.
Oh wandering lad, oh longing soul,
This forest is ancient as I am old.
Like you I was young and green like the trees,
But slowly I’m dying like the fading leaves.
